离世博会开幕还剩下300天也不到了，我们还在楞什么？难道我们给老外的映像是世博与我们中国人无关？连最起码的英语都不会？那我们不是在丢脸吗？
我明白你们其实不是英语不好，而是意识懒散。当年有个同济大学毕业生因为懒得看英文结果错失上外国公司工作的机会。而如果你们也像他们那样，早晚变成国际玩笑。
那好，请记录下你看到的东西，并且翻译成英文。这样，等到世博会开始时，你们会发现英语根本不是什么。
我希望这帖持续到明年5月1日甚至10月31日或更遥远的日子。
编辑一下：请务必重视，我们取得世博的主办权不容易，不要因为我们个人的原因，让全世界人认为我们没有文化知识，不懂得交流。

Only less than 300 years left, the EXPO will be opened. What are we waiting? Is it that we want to show the foreigners that the EXPO is none of our business? Even we can't learn the basic English? Is it shameful?
I know that you are not so bad in English only that you have lazy mind. Once there is a Tongji University graduated student, he lost the chance to be hired by a foreign company because he is so lazy that he doesn't want to read English. If you are such person like him, it will become an international joke.
Then, please sign up what you have seen and translate it into English. When the EXPO is opened, you will find that English is nothing.
I hope this thread will be last until the next May 1, Oct 31th or even long.

Edit: Please pay attention on this. We are not easy to win the host of EXPO. Don't show the people from all over the world that we have no cultural knowledge, we don't know how to communicate because of our own reasons.

I couldn't know what you talked about.What mean is "please sign up what you have seen and translate it into English."? Is that mean the little things in our life?Then we sign up them and sent to the BBS?

在中国的土地上对着中国人我还是喜欢说中文.
当然,如果你不是中国人的话我可以考虑用别的语言.
不过目前能交流用的也只有英语,日语,法语我还可以问法国的朋友,其他国家的人还是算了.
